- 6 slices bacon
- 1 medium onion
- 1 lb. smoked sausage
- 1 large head cabbage
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Dice bacon and brown in 2-quart pot.

2Peel and dice onion, add to rendered bacon in pot.

3Slice smoked sausage and add to bacon and onion.

4Cook approximately 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Quarter cabbage, pull apart and add to pot.

5Salt and pepper to taste.

6Cover pot and cook on medium heat until tender.

7Do not add water and do not overcook.
