- 1 green cabbage medium-sized, chopped finely
- 1 onion large, chopped finely
- 2 cloves garlic chopped finely
- olive oil
- salt
- pepper
Directions

1Heat the olive oil in a large casserole.

2Add the onions and fry until well caramelised. Then add the garlic and continue to cook for another minute.

3Add the cabbage and toss gently. Season with some salt and pepper. Add 1/2 cup of water, cover and cook on low.

4If a lot of water releases from the cabbage, open the casserole and cook it on high so all the water evaporates.

5Serve either hot or cold.
