- 1 pint oysters
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 cup butter
- 1 garlic chopped
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tabasco Pepper Sauce dshs
- 1 cup wine Chablis
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 toast points
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley Finely
Directions

1Drain oysters and pick out any pieces of shell.

2Dredge in flour, dip in eggs which have been mixed with water and then in crumbs.

3This may be done up to an hour in advance of cooking.

4Heat butter in skillet with chopped garlic for 2 or 3 minutes.

5Add oysters and brown on both sides, about 2 minutes.

6Remove oysters and keep warm.

7Add lemon juice, Worcestershire, Tabasco, wine and salt.

8Heat juices over oysters.

9Sprinkle with parsley.
