- 10 oz. pkg. fresh spinach
- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Remove stems from spinach.

2Wash leaves and pat dry.

3Set aside.

4Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

5Add green onion.

6Cook, stirring constantly, until tender.

7Add spinach, sugar and salt.

8Cover and cook 3 to 5 minutes or until spinach is wilted and tender, stirring once.

9Drain and serve immediately.

10Yields 3 servings.
