Savory Glazed Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp. Wyler's beef instant bouillon
  • 1 (16 oz.) jar peach preserves
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar Bennett's chili sauce or your brand
  • 1 (1.5 oz.) pkg. onion soup and dip mix

    In large bowl, combine meat, water chestnuts, eggs, bread crumbs and bouillon.

    Mix well.

    Shape into 1 1/4-inch meatballs. In large skillet, brown meatballs.

    Remove meatballs from skillet; discard fat.

    In same skillet, combine remaining ingredients. Over low heat, cook and stir 5 minutes.

    Add meatballs; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.

    Serve hot.

    Refrigerate any leftovers. Ummmm - good!
