- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1/2 c. lemon juice or vinegar
- 1/2 c. water or grape juice
- 2 tsp. salt
- dash of paprika
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 to 6 c. shredded red cabbage
Directions

1Saute onions in fat until soft and golden (approximately 10 minutes).

3Cover and cook gently until cabbage is tender, about 20 to 25 minutes.
