- 2 c. shredded zucchini
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- sesame seed (optional)
Directions

1Pat zucchini to absorb moisture with paper towel.

2In skillet, saute zucchini and onion in magarine for 5 minutes.

3Separate dough into 2 long rectangles.

4Press or roll to form a 12 x 8-inch rectangle, sealing perforations.

5Spread filling evenly over dough. Sprinkle cheese on top of zucchini filling, starting at longest side, roll up and seal edges.

6Place, seam side down, on greased cookie sheet.

7With sharp knife, make cuts at 1-inch intervals halfway through roll.

8Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seed.

9Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
