  • 350 g cherries, stoned
  • 25 g caster sugar
  • 12 cinnamon stick
  • 5 drops rose water
  • 50 ml water

Directions

    Place cherries in a pan with 50ml water, sugar and cinnamon.

    Bring to the boil and simmer (covered) for 3 minutes.

    Remove the cherries and boil the remaining syrup until it is reduced by half.
  4. 4
    Pour syrup over cherries and sprinkle with the rosewater.

    Chill until needed.
