  • 16 tablespoons self rising flour
  • 12 tablespoons milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 egg yolk for brushing

Directions

    Preheat oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

    Mix flour, milk, eggs, butter and sugar together.

    Mix well.

    Shape mixture into small rolls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    Whisk egg yolk with a little bit of water.

    Brush egg yolk over scones.

    Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
