  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. sugar

Directions

    Mix together very evenly with your hands.

    Smash evenly all the way to the edges of a jelly roll pan, pressing very firmly. Prick evenly close together with a fork.

    Sugar lightly; bake at 300° for 30 to 45 minutes until tan, not brown.

    Immediately cut into bars after removing from oven.

    Allow to cool in pan.
