- 3 c. quick cooking oats
- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. shortening, softened
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. cold water
Directions

1Mix flour, oats, salt and sugar.

2Cut in shortening.

3Add water, mixing with fork.

4Roll out to about 1/4-inch thick.

5Cut out into rounds (with glass).

6Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° until golden brown (about 20 to 25 minutes).
