- 6 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup lard
- 5 3/4 cups flour
- 1 dash anise
- 4 drops anise extract
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 205 Celsius.

2Cream the eggs with the sugar until the sugar dissolves. Add the lard and beat well. Stir in the anise and anise extract.

3Add the flour, little by little, beating constantly until a smooth dough is formed. Set aside for 1 hour.

4Divide the dough into portions roughly the size of a mandarin orange and form into rings. Place onto parchment paper.

5Bake for 15 minutes and cool on a baking rack.
