- 4 eggs
- 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/8 teaspoon ground thyme
- 10 ounces seitan
- 1/4 cup olive oil
Directions

1Whisk eggs together in a bowl. Combine bread crumbs, black pepper, cumin, garlic powder, chili powder, and thyme in a separate bowl.

2Slice seitan into desired-size pieces. Dip each into egg mixture, then coat with bread crumbs; place on a plate.

3Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Arrange coated seitan pieces in the skillet; cook until crispy, 5 to 7 minutes per side.
