Sesame Seed Salad

  • 2 bunches of red leaf lettuce
  • 1 pkg of bacon, cooked crisp
  • 1/2 c sliced almonds
  • 1 jar sesame seeds
  • 1/4 c apple vinegar
  • 1/2 c oil
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions

    Toast together in a skillet almonds and sesame seeds.

    Add to lettuce and bacon.

    Set overnight.

    To make dressing, mix vinegar, oil, sugar, salt and pepper together and set in refrigerator overnight.

    Before serving, shake dressing and pour over salad. You can add chopped boiled eggs, mushrooms or cheese if desired.
