  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, torn in pieces
  • 2 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, cook peas in microwave first, then cool
  • 2 bunches celery, chopped fine
  • 2 sweet onions, cut in half and sliced thin
  • 1/4 Tbsp. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • sliced mushrooms
  • bacon bits

Directions

    Layer the following in a deep glass dish:

    lettuce, peas, celery, onions and sugar.

    Dollop mayonnaise on top.

    Cover with Saran Wrap.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    Next day add mushrooms and bacon bits.

    Toss.
