- 1 head leaf lettuce
- 1 small jar real mayonnaise
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. chopped green onions
- 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper or celery
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Cook peas according to package directions and drain.

2Fry bacon until very crisp.

3Wash and dry lettuce.

4Put lettuce in large bowl torn into pieces.

5Next, place the chopped bell pepper and onions, spreading them out over the lettuce.

6Pour the cooked, drained green peas over the top, then put mayonnaise over the top of the peas, spreading it out and then sprinkle sugar over.

7Put grated cheese on next, covering the top and then garnish with small pieces of the cooked bacon.

8Refrigerate overnight before serving or at least 6 to 8 hours.
