- 1/2 pound pasta shells
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup mascarpone cheese
- 3 tablespoons parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated
- 13 cup walnuts toasted, finely chopped
Directions

1Cook pasta to the aldente stage, drain.

2Melt butter in a fireproof serving dish.

3Add the mascarpone cheese (or whipping cream) but do not let boil.

4Add cooked pasta to the warm mascarpone mixture, coating it well.

5Add the parmesan cheese and chopped walnuts.

6Serve with extra parmesan to taste.

7This is a very rich dish and a little goes a long way.
