  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. popcorn (unpopped)
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. peanuts (optional)

Directions

    Pop the popcorn and set aside.

    Mix sugar, syrup and butter in saucepan and cook for 5 minutes.

    Add soda and stir well.

    Pour over popped corn; stir well and spread on cookie sheet.

    Bake 20 to 25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes at 250°.
