Ingredients

  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 lb. sirloin tip roast, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes
  • firm ripe tomatoes, quartered
  • onions, quartered
  • green peppers, quartered
  • canned small whole potatoes
  • whole mushrooms

Directions

    Combine oil, vinegar, chopped onion, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.

    Pour over cubed meat.

    Stir to coat all pieces; marinate and refrigerate overnight, or leave at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours.

    Alternate beef cubes and vegetables on skewers.

    Cook over charcoal, basting with marinade.

    Serve on rice.
