Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 2 lb. lean beef (round, chuck or sirloin), cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions

    Mix first 6 ingredients well.

    Add meat and let marinate several hours or overnight, turning meat occasionally.

    String alternating on long skewers a whole fresh mushroom, cube of beef, squash, onion and green pepper, leaving room on ends for small tomato or large tomato, cubed.

    Cook for about 25 minutes, turning often and basting with marinade.
