  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Crisco
  • 2/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. hot water
  • 1 c. Old Barrell
  • 1 tsp. soda

Directions

    Mix flour, Crisco and brown sugar; save 1/2 cup to put on top. Combine egg, hot water, Old Barrell and soda.

    Put on bottom of pie shell.

    Bake at 350° for 25 minutes, then reduce heat to 325° for 10 minutes or until done.
