- 2 large onions, chopped
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 6 c. potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 3 c. water
- 6 oz. mild Cheddar cheese
- 2 (10 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
- 1 lb. shrimp, cleaned
Directions

1Cook onions in margarine in a large saucepan until onions are tender, but not brown.

2Add potatoes and water.

3Cook, covered, over medium heat until potatoes are tender.

4Add soup and cheese, stirring until cheese melts.

5Add shrimp and cook 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink.

6Do not boil.

7Makes 8 servings.
