Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 c. parsley flakes
  • 3 tsp. salad oil
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch (add water)
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
  • dash of red pepper
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 lb. shrimp

Directions

    Cook onions in hot oil until tender.

    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and all seasonings.

    Simmer uncovered for 45 minutes.

    Add shrimp.

    Simmer again for 15 minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Serve over rice.

    You may cover while simmering last 15 minutes.
