- 2 cans stewed tomatoes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 celery stalks, diced
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. Creole seasoning
- 1 stick butter
- 1 lb. skinned, cooked shrimp
- other meat, like sausage (optional)
Directions

1In large skillet melt butter and saute onion and celery.

2Cook until tender.

3Add bay leaves and black pepper.

4Stir shrimp and saute until shrimp is tender.

5In medium-sized pot add stewed tomatoes, crushed finely with blender.

6Stir in Creole season and mix well.

7Add entire contents of skillet to tomatoes.

8Stir well and cover.
-
9Cook on low heat for 30 minutes.

10Remove bay leaves and serve over hot rice.
