Ingredients
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 clove garlic, chopped fine
- 2 green peppers, coarsely chopped
- 1 lb. 3 oz. can tomatoes
- 1 small can tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 lb. raw shrimp
- dashes of Tabasco (optional)
- 2 medium onions, chopped
Directions

1Melt butter in a large pan.

2Stir in garlic, green peppers and onions.

3Cook until tender, stirring frequently.

4Pour in tomatoes and tomato sauce.

5Simmer 30 minutes.

6Season with salt and pepper.

7Clean shrimp and add to sauce; cook 5 minutes.

8Add Tabasco.

9Serve with steamed rice.
