Ingredients

  • 2 lb. boiled shrimp
  • 5 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/4 c. green pepper
  • 6 to 8 green onions
  • 1/2 c. celery
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can water
  • 1 Tbsp. Lea and Perrins sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Brown flour in oil until medium brown.

    Add onions, pepper, green onions and garlic to the flour.

    Let fry until onions are transparent.

    Add tomato sauce.

    Rinse can with water and add to mixture.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Add Lea and Perrins and Tabasco sauce.

    Simmer for 30 minutes.

    Add shrimp and simmer for 20 minutes more.
