Ingredients
- 1/4 - 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. diced green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. chopped celery
- 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 large can of tomatoes
- 2 lb. shelled and clean shrimp, raw
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. tabasco
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 small can of tomato paste
- (add 3 cans of water)
Directions

1Saute vegetables in butter until tender.

2Blend in flour. Add other ingredients except shrimp and bring to boil, stirring constantly.

3Reduce heat and simmer until tomatoes cook down, about 45 minutes.

4Add shrimp and cook slowly 30 minutes or more.
