- 2 large cans tomato sauce
- 1 can hot water
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- salt and pepper
- 1 c. flour
- 2 to 3 lb. shrimp
- rice

9Let this mixture cook slowly while you brown about 1 cup of flour in shortening real dark (almost burn it). Add to other mixture stirring constantly. Add shrimp and cook 20 minutes after this has come to a boil.

10Stir occasionally. Serve over cooked rice.
