- 1 1/2 lb. raw shrimp
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. diced celery
- 2/3 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 4 to 5 drops Tabasco sauce (or more if you like it hot)
- salt to taste
- cooked white rice
Directions

1Peel and devein shrimp.

2Cook onions and pepper in butter until almost tender.

3Add celery and cook a little longer.

4Add water and tomato paste; simmer.

5Add shrimp and cook until done (about 5 minutes).

6Serve over white rice.
