Ingredients
- 2 lb. raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. Tabasco
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 tsp. minced parsley
- 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 Tbsp. minced onion
- salt
- 1 c. beer
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 2 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Wash and dry shrimp.

2Saute shrimp and onion in butter 1 minute on each side.

3Add salt to taste, Tabasco and flour.

4Mix well.

5Remove from heat and add beer and lemon juice, stirring constantly.

6Bring to a boil; add bay leaf and thyme.

7Cook over low heat for 5 minutes.

8Discard bay leaf.

9Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with rice.
