Shrimp Mousse

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) and 1 (3 oz.) cream cheese
  • 2 cans deveined shrimp (about 5 oz. size), save the juice
  • 2 envelopes gelatin
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. finely chopped celery
  • 1 small grated onion
  • 1 small jar chopped pimento
  • Tabasco, salt, pepper to taste

    Add gelatin to water and dissolve.

    Puree shrimp in blender. Barely heat juice from shrimp; stir with gelatin and add lemon juice.

    Mix all ingredients together and add to shrimp in blender.
