  • vegetable cooking spray
  • 1 c. apple juice
  • 6 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter flavor mix
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 4 medium baking apples, cored and sliced into 1/3-inch wedges

    Lightly spray nonstick skillet with cooking spray.

    Pour in apple juice.

    Add sugar and mix until sugar dissolves.

    Simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly.

    Stir in batter, flavor mix, cinnamon and nutmeg and mix about 1 minute.

    Add apples and simmer 10 to 12 minutes until apples are soft.
