Ingredients

  • 9 oz plain flour
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 6 tsp of sugar
  • 1 envelope instant yeast (11g)
  • 2 eggs
  • 7 tsp of milk or water
  • 2 oz of butter

Directions

    Mix flour, salt, sugar and instant yeast

    Add one egg at a time and milk.

    Gradually add butter.
  4. 4
    Knead dough for 15min, cover and let it rest for one hour.
  5. 5
    Punch out the air and shape it according to mould.
  6. 6
    Cover with tea towel and let it rise until it double in size.

    Brush top of the loaf with egg and water mixture.
  8. 8
    Bake in 180C oven for 30min.
