- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 eggs, separated
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 c. milk
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°. Grease and flour two 8-inch round baking pans.

2In large mixer bowl, beat butter, sugar and vanilla until creamy.

3Add egg yolks and beat well.

4Stir together flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

5Add alternately with milk to butter mixture.
