Simple Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 2 12 lbs lean ground beef
  • 2 onions, peeled and chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon crushed dried oregano
  • 16 ounces lasagna noodles
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

    In a bowl beat eggs and add cottage cheese, set aside.

    In large skillet brown ground beef with onions salt and pepper and drain.

    Add tomatoes, sauce and oregano,( Or use your favorite sauce in a jar to speed this up!)

    mix well.

    Simmer 30 minutes.

    Cook lasagna noodles according to package, or use no cook noodles.

    Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F.

    In 13 X 9 in backing dish assemble 3 layers of ingredients starting with the meat sauce, noodles, cottage cheese mixture and mozzarella cheese, ending with the mozzarella cheese.

    Bake for 45 mins, or until bubbly on top.
