- 1 1/2 lbs broccoli
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted (optional)
Directions

1Separate flowerets of broccoli into small pieces.

2Remove tough skin on stems.

3Cut stems diagonally into slices about 1 1/2 inches in length.

4Wash broccoli.

5Drain.

6Heat oil in a wok to 400°.

7When hot, put in broccoli and stir-fry 1 minute.

8Add salt, water, and sugar.

9Cover.

10Cook 3 minutes.

11Remove cover.

12stir fry for 2 more minutes.

13Sprinkle with optional sesame seeds.
