  • 3 lb. frying chicken
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vinegar

Directions

    Shake chicken in paper bag with flour, salt, garlic salt and pepper.

    In skillet, brown chicken in Wesson oil. Remove excess fat.

    Combine onion, sauce, sugar and vinegar. Pour over chicken. Cook until chicken done.
