  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 10 oz. bag pecan halves
  • 12 oz. bag milk chocolate chips

Directions

    Heat butter and brown sugar to 308° on candy thermometer (hard crack) over medium heat.

    Pour caramel layer over pecans that are placed in single layer in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Sprinkle chocolate chips on top; spread as they melt.

    Cool for 3 to 4 hours.

    Flip out of pan and break into pieces.
