Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground meat
  • 3 tablespoons liquid smoke
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 16 ounces ketchup
  • 6 ounces chili sauce
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper, diced
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • salt and pepper or seasoning salt
  • 8 small hamburger buns (smaller size)
  • butter
  • onion, sliced
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese

Directions

    Brown Meat, drain and then add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, cover and let simmer while preparing the buns. Butter the Buns and toast them either on a stove top griddle or under the broiler. Serve hot with sliced onions and cheddar cheese.
