Slow Cooker Venison

- 2 large onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 to 2 lb. venison, cut up (Back strap is best)
- 1 large bell pepper
- 3/4 c. red wine
- dash of garlic salt
- 1/2 lb. bacon
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp.

2Remove bacon and add onions, bell peppers and garlic to grease; stir until done.

3Season venison with salt, pepper and garlic salt and rub thoroughly with Worcestershire sauce.

4Brown meat in pot with onions and bell peppers.

5After meat is brown, add wine, one cup of water and crumbled bacon.

6Cook in slow cooker (medium setting) for about 5 hours or until meat is tender.

7Serve over rice.

8Great with white beans.
