- 8 oz. asparagus
- 1/2 c. dairy sour cream
- 1/4 c. green taco sauce or salsa
- 1/4 tsp. lime juice
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- dash of ground red pepper
Directions

1Snap off and discard woody bases from asparagus.

2If desired, scrape off scales.

3Cook, covered, in a small amount of boiling water until very tender, about 15 minutes.

4Drain; cool.

5Place asparagus in blender container.

6Cover; blend until smooth. Transfer to bowl.

7Stir in sour cream, taco sauce, lime juice, salt, pepper and red pepper.

8Chill, covered, up to 24 hours.
