- 1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 box devil's food cake mix
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. Spanish peanuts
- 6 oz. chocolate chips
Directions

1Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk in double boiler or microwave 3 minutes. In large bowl, mix melted margarine, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and cake mix. Press half of cake mix into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350° for 6 minutes. Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate pieces. Cover with melted caramels. Dot top with remaining cake mix. Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes. Refrigerate; pull out to room temperature to cut.
