- 1 stick margarine
- 3/4 c. chocolate chips
- 1 pkg. Kraft caramels
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Mix cake according to directions.

2Pour half batter into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.

4Melt caramels with margarine and milk in saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently.

5Pour over baked cake.

6Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.

7Spoon remaining cake batter over caramel layer.

8Bake at 250° for 20 minutes.

9Increase temperature to 300° and bake 10 minutes longer.
