  • FOR CUPCAKES
  • 2 sticks Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1-1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 2-1/4 cups Flour
  • 3/4 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 3/4 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 3/4 teaspoons Cream Of Tartar

  • FOR THE TOPPING:
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Cream butter, sugar, vanilla, eggs and sour cream together.

    In separate bowl mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cream of tartar.

    Combine all the above ingredients.

    Using a scoop, i.e. large cookie scoop, ice cream scoop, etc... Scoop out a portion of cupcake mixture. Drop mixture into a bowl of the 1 Cup Sugar + 2 Tablespoons Cinnamon. Roll dough ball around in mixture until well coated.

    Drop dough ball into Greased Muffin Tins.

    Bake 20 minutes.

    Mmm, mmm, good. They look, smell and taste just like a Snickerdoodle Cookie! Would be good with a dollop of Buttercream Frosting on top too.
