- 1 c. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Cream margarine, 1 1/2 cup sugar and eggs until light and fluffy.

2In a separate bowl, combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.

3Add to creamed mixture until well blended. Refrigerate dough for 30 minutes.

4Combine remaining 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon in flat open bowl.

5Shape dough into 2-inch balls and roll in cinnamon-sugar.

6Place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

7Bake 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.

8Makes 2 dozen cookies.

9Freezes up to 3 months.
