  • 2 c. shortening
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 5 1/4 c. flour
  • 4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • cinnamon and sugar

Directions

    Mix shortening until creamy; add sugar and eggs.

    Mix well. Mix flour, cream of tartar and salt together.

    Add flour mixture to sugar mixture; mix well.

    Make 1-inch balls out of all dough. Roll in cinnamon sugar and bake at 350° for approximately 5 to 8 minutes.
