- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 2 34 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Directions

1Cream together butter and margarine.

2Add 1 1/2 c sugar and cream until fluffy.

3Add eggs and mix well.

4Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.

5Add to creamed mixture.

6Mix thoroughly.

7Cover and refrigerate overnight.

8Mix 2 T sugar and cinnamon in a flat bowl or saucer.

9Roll dough into walnut size balls.

10Roll balls in cinnamon-sugar mixture.

11Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes on cookie sheet that's been greased or covered with parchment paper.

12Let stand a minute before removing from cookie sheet to a cooling rack.
