- 2 envelopes Knox gelatine
- 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
- 1 (4 oz.) carton Cool Whip
- 1 large angel food cake
Directions

1Dissolve gelatine in 4 tablespoons cold water.

2Add 1 cup boiling water, pineapple juice, sugar, salt and lemon juice. Refrigerate until partially set (1/2 hour at least).

3Remove and add 1 large cake, torn in 1 1/2 x 2-inch pieces.

4Line a colander with Saran Wrap (over the holes).

5Then layer cake, gelatine, etc. until all is used, leaving cake as the last layer.

6Refrigerate overnight.

7Invert in plate and ice with small Cool Whip.
