- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions

1Put 1 3/4 cup milk in saucepan, cover and bring to a boiling point.

2Reduce heat.

3Combine eggs, sugar, salt, and remaining milk.

4Add to scalded milk, stirring constantly.

5Cook stirring constantly, until a coating forms on a spoon.

6Remove and cool, add vanilla.

7Serve in tall glasses with whipped cream and coconut or use as a pudding sauce.
