Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can mild taco sauce
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup, diluted with 1 can milk
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. grated Longhorn cheese
  • 8 tortillas

Directions

    Brown beef with onion; season with salt and pepper.

    Add taco sauce.

    Heat chicken soup and milk.

    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish.

    Tear 4 soft tortillas into bite size pieces and cover bottom of casserole.

    Add 1/2 of meat, 1/2 of soup and 1/2 of cheese.

    Repeat layers.

    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
